Yesterday when I got home from work, I had planned to make Scott a nice dinner. We had some steak and potatoes, and veggies and I was looking forward to it. Well, he made me dinner instead! He didn't even want me to help! I did though, for some reason I can't just sit while he does it all. He is SO great - so good to me.
I made sure to tell him how greatful I was that he chose me over all other women, and how glad I am that I am his wife. I love being married to him. His response was that he was greatful that I chose him. I would never have it any other way.
Didn't get the dishes done last night. We stayed up late watching a movie, then went right to bed. I did get up and make him some pancakes this morning though, and he was very greatful. He was pretty happy too, because he got to play a new video game he rented while I was cooking and while we were eating. He was so excited about pancakes and video games - so cute! :) I love serving him!
Today, find some way that your husband is serving you or your family. Praise him for his willingness to serve others. Let him know that you see his unique service as a great strength.
